Refund Policy

This Refund Policy explains when and how Tribus Labs, LLC will issue refunds for LifeCharted subscriptions. Please read it carefully before subscribing.

1. General rule

All subscription payments are non-refundable except where required by applicable law or expressly stated in this policy. When you subscribe to LifeCharted, you authorise us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel.

2. Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you retain access to paid features until that date. We do not issue partial-period refunds when you cancel mid-cycle.

3. Free trials

If we offer a free trial, no charge is made during the trial period. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your chosen plan will begin and your payment method will be charged. We do not refund charges incurred after a free trial converts to a paid subscription.

4. Exceptions — when we will issue a refund

We will issue a full refund in the following circumstances:

  • You were charged in error (e.g., a duplicate charge or a technical error on our end).
  • You did not receive access to the Service for an extended period due to a verified outage on our side.
  • Applicable consumer-protection law in your jurisdiction grants you a cooling-off or right-of-withdrawal period (e.g., EU/UK 14-day right of withdrawal for digital services not yet commenced). Where this applies, we will honour it.

5. How to request a refund

To request a refund, email [email protected] with the subject line Refund request. Please include:

  • The email address associated with your account.
  • The date and amount of the charge.
  • The reason for your request.

We aim to respond within 5 business days. Approved refunds are credited to your original payment method and may take 5–10 business days to appear, depending on your bank or card issuer.

6. Chargebacks

If you initiate a chargeback with your bank or card issuer before contacting us, we may suspend your account pending investigation. We encourage you to reach out to us first — we are happy to resolve billing issues directly and promptly.

7. Price changes

If we raise the price of your subscription, we will notify you at least 30 days before the increase takes effect for your next renewal. If you do not wish to continue at the new price, you may cancel before your next renewal date and no further charges will be made.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. We will post the updated policy on this page with a revised effective date. Material changes will be communicated via in-app notice or email.
