What is Photo Book?
AI selects and sequences your photos into a visual narrative aligned with your life story.
What Photo Book does
Photo Book uses AI to select photos from your timeline and arrange them into a visual narrative. The AI picks images that best represent the chapters of your story, ordered chronologically and aligned with your event descriptions.
It works best when your photos are attached to meaningful events with clear titles and descriptions — the AI uses those details to decide which photos tell the story most effectively.
Generating a Photo Book
Open the Library tab and choose Photo Book. Tap Generate to create a new book. The AI selects from all photos in your library that are attached to events included in your story.
Generation takes a moment. Once done, you can scroll through the curated set before saving.
Sharing your Photo Book
Photo Book can be included in a share bundle from the Sharing Center alongside other documents like My Story or Life Resume. Recipients see the photos and captions without needing a LifeCharted account.
Rules of Thumb
- Attach photos to events before generating — Photo Book only works with photos already on your timeline.
- Richer event descriptions lead to better photo selection — the AI uses your event context to choose images.
Common Mistakes
- Generating with very few photos — the result works best with at least 10 to 15 photos spread across multiple events.
- Expecting the AI to use photos not attached to any event — unattached photos in the gallery are not included.
