A résumé for
your whole life.
Not just your career — your entire life in a structured document. Career, homes, education, travel, relationships, and milestones. Export as PDF, print it, share a link, or keep it private.

Six sections, auto-populated from your timeline
Career, Education, Residences, Travel, Relationships, and Milestones are each drawn directly from your timeline events. No copy-pasting, no reformatting. Log the event once; it appears everywhere it belongs.
Tone and length controls
Choose from six tones (Reflective, Warm, Professional, Poetic, Factual, Inspirational) and three lengths (Short, Medium, Long). The same events produce a very different document depending on what you're using it for — a birthday keepsake reads differently than a therapy intake.
Integrated world map
When you've logged five or more places, the Life Resume automatically renders a world map showing everywhere you've lived and traveled. It's included in PDF exports — a visual signature of a life lived across the world.
Export, print, and share in any format
Download as PDF, DOCX, or use the browser's print view (tuned for clean output). With Premium, create a shareable link to a specific version so family, a doctor, or an attorney can access exactly what you chose to share.
Versioned, pinned, and shareable
Every generated Life Resume is saved as a version. Pin a version to freeze it for sharing — your pinned snapshot doesn't change when you update your timeline. Perfect for documents you've handed to someone else and don't want to accidentally change.

Common questions
How is the Life Resume different from LinkedIn?
LinkedIn is a professional networking profile optimized for career visibility. The Life Resume is a private document covering your whole life — not just work, but homes, education, travel, relationships, and milestones. It's designed to be printed, gifted, archived, and shared on your terms — not to be publicly indexed.
Can I print the Life Resume?
Yes — LifeCharted includes print-optimized CSS, so printing directly from the browser gives you a clean, formatted document. Premium users can also export as a PDF (with the world map included) or as DOCX for further editing.
Which sections are included?
Career, Education, Residences, Travel, Relationships, and Milestones — all drawn automatically from your timeline events. You can control which sections appear in any given version, and Premium users can reorder sections before exporting.
What if my timeline is sparse? Will the resume look empty?
A Life Resume with even 10 meaningful events can be a valuable document. Sparse data produces a compact, focused result rather than a skeletal one. The more you've logged, the richer the output — but there's no minimum.
Can I share just part of my Life Resume?
With Premium, yes. You can generate and pin a version that includes only specific sections — e.g., Career and Education only — and share a link to that. The recipient sees only what you included in that version.
Does the resume update automatically when I add new events?
Not automatically — you generate a new version when you're ready. This is intentional: it lets you control what any shared version contains. Pinned versions you've shared don't change when you add new events.
How is the Life Resume different from My Story?
The Life Resume is structured and document-like — sections, bullet points, dates, a world map. My Story is prose narrative — sentences and paragraphs that tell the story of your life. They're complementary. Many users generate both: a resume for formal contexts, a story for personal ones.
Which tone works best for a formal document like an estate file?
Factual is the best tone for formal, legal, or medical contexts — it produces precise, date-anchored language without interpretation. Professional is a good second choice. For family keepsakes, Warm or Reflective produces much more emotionally resonant documents.
